A little about us

Pioneer Medical Initiative (PMI) is a non-governmental organization that strives to close the gap in healthcare provision and ensure that people in Africa have access to quality and affordable healthcare services.

At PMI, we deliver healthcare services to vulnerable groups in rural and marginalized communities through medical outreaches that provide free consultations, medications, and referrals; and health education campaigns that raise awareness on preventive measures, hygiene practices, nutrition and emergency response interventions.

In general, we advocate and provide insights on the inclusion of vulnerable populations in the healthcare system.
